Every project is important.
We recognize that each project is unique but believe each deserves the same thoughtful care, consideration, and attention to detail. It is our goal to smoothly navigate each of our clients from project inception through successful completion. Our work is guided by these three principles:
DEFINE THE OBJECTIVES: We begin each project by working with our clients to clearly define their goals including function, budget, aesthetics, quality, and schedule. We re-visit each goal periodically during the design and construction phases to ensure that each is being met.
COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY: Creating an environment where project details can be openly and comfortably discussed is important. At Sharp Architects, Inc. we foster a team approach that emphasizes listening to and learning about the needs and concerns of our clients. It is essential that we understand the requirements of the facility users including public, staff, and owners. In turn, it is also critical that we effectively communicate the concerns of the design team and other community stakeholders to our clients.
THOUGHTFUL DESIGN: All projects deserve smart, responsive design. We believe in honoring the surrounding community by creating designs that are attractive, environmentally sensitive and respond to the fabric of the neighborhood and the surrounding community.
By staying true to these principles, we are confident that your project will be a success. We believe that a successful project is the cornerstone of any long-term relationship and lays a strong foundation for infinite future opportunities.

“Sharp Architects, Inc. developed blueprints and construction documents for two projects which ran simultaneously; a remediation project and a building remodel project. Lisa first worked with the library board to develop a long range capital plan. In the design stages, each new and repurposed space was well thought out and took into consideration all of our goals for the building. We now have a bright and vibrant facility that offers spaces for library patrons of all ages where they can feel safe and comfortable while studying, reading, surfing, or just relaxing. Sharp Architects, Inc. worked very well with our construction manager which allowed us to assess plans throughout construction and make timely changes as needed which improved the project and saved money.”Sarah A.
