Little Home Church by the Wayside was built in 1871. With their 150th anniversary soon approaching, the church wanted to renovate the historic Sanctuary and create two handicapped accessible restrooms to make their facility more inclusive and safe for visitors.
The project included exterior painting as well as restoration of historic arched windows at the Sanctuary. Additional windows were replaced with aluminium-clad wood windows that matched the historic details. Several wood doors were replaced with aluminium-clad wood doors as well. Stone foundations were tuckpointed and a small basement received considerable attention to make the space usable and structurally stable.
Interior work included two new restrooms, painting, replacement of non-historic light fixtures, and new LVT flooring throughout the corridors.
